New Jane Foster Fabric Figures

People keep asking me to invent some more characters - I've been making toys and animals for years now so have been playing with some new ideas - fabric figures that aren't quite dolls but are more like ornaments! Each is a complete hand drawn, handmade one off. Would be lovely to hear your comments! x

New pre-school books by Jane Foster - ABC and 123

The postman delivered my two new pre-school books in the post today  - here are some snap shots - they'll be available to buy in the shops in May but are available to pre-order on Amazon now at £6.99 each. One is a counting book and the other an alphabet book. Am really happy with the look and feel of them - both have slightly shiny and raised pictures although it's hard to see in my photos!

It was only a matter of time before I started entering a Nautical theme after having moved nearer to the coast 6 months ago.

It's been so fabulous to finally get back to screen printing again! These are my first screen prints that I've done in the new studio. All available now from my website and Etsy. They're limited edition and have been printed onto textured pristine white thin card.

My picture domino obsession - Jane Foster

I've an obsession with vintage picture dominoes - here are a few snap shots of just a few examples I have in my vast collection and what I've done with some of them. They date from the 50s, 60s and 70s. I've included a few projects in my latest book Creative Craft With Kids available here.

New Scandinavian Toy Lions by Jane Foster
