Handmade Danish 70s bunting - Al Eklund

The Danish designer Al Eklund is one of my all time favourites so I was very pleased to have come across this set of 70s cardboard coasters in it's original box. There were 21 coasters inside, I'm keeping most of them in the box but have used some to make bunting for my daughter's 5th Birthday this week. The bunting is incredibly quick and easy to make - you just sew straight through it with a sewing machine, making sure you leave long bits at each end.
