I've always loved 60s architecture and especially love seeing any Span house that comes up for sale on my favourite website
wowhaus. (The house in the first photo is for sale) Our home isn't 60s (unfortunately) but the nearest equivalent home we could find to a 60s town house here in Totnes, Devon! (It does have the classic upstairs sitting room!)
Here are some photos of some Span houses I love and our own wooden clad town house here in Totnes.

Thanks for sharing this, I am currently trying to convince my family that this type of house is for us...your house looks like a great modern version x x x
They are wonderfully simple and light.
There is always so much space in these houses. We have a lot in our town, I've been in some that have had very little work done on them, orange tiles and avocado suites! Ada :)
Like these houses too, mostly because they have much bigger windows than a standard British house. You should see some of the 60s houses in Australia eg. Sydney and Canberra - they're fab!
Loving the WowHaus site! Just been drooling over a house in my local area, wish I had the money!x
Yes, it's a great site! Another great one is The Modern House Estate Agents!
wouldn't be able to go for a house like that - my school was exactly like it!
Don't suppose you have funky retro bathroom design to share - I need some inspiration... thanks x
We live (in a rented house) in a Span estate, but I'd never even heard of them until we moved here. Ours is at the more modest end, I hasten to add. I had no idea they were becoming desirable - just goes to show. It's a nice place to live - I just wish I had less clutter, and more midcentury furniture to do it justice!
I like the last ones-There's a cool park nr those :) In Totnes today collecting Daughters Conker school shoes!
Like these homes too, mostly because they have much larger windows than a conventional British house.
