I had a lovely morning screen printing with my four year old daughter Polly. This is her first ever screen print 'Apple Trees'. She drew the picture and I cut out the stencil just as she'd drawn it. She stirred the ink, poured it onto the screen and we both pulled the squeegie together. She loved it! We've also printed this onto fabric as she wants me to make it into a purse and bag! I'm going to frame this for the kitchen as I'm so impressed.

It's beautiful, I love the simplicity of children's art. It's very similar to my favourite drawing by my son Max, which he drew when he was 3 and titled '2 trees'. He's nearly 7 now and it's still up in our kitchen.
Hi, this is just perfect, I have worked with young children for many years and get so frustrated how adults try to impose their own ideas upon chilren's creativity! My heart literally sinks when I go into nurseries and schools and see that all the children have produced all the same Christmas card! Children are wonderfully creative without us adults having to interfere! You have left your daughters picture pure, exactly the way she intended it to be, :)
What a talented 4-year-old you have, it is lovely!
It's so gorgeous! She should start her own little Etsy shop :-)
This is amazing...you have your Mums' talent, Polly :) I made a toy from one of Oscar's drawings, its really special when you create something together x
Thank you for your lovely comments - I've been calling her my 'best screen printer' all day!
'I think you are clever' said Alfred 5 years old!
it is just perfect! That is definitely a winning design and if she's doing this at 4, yo'd better watch out!
Fantastic, perfect simplicity.
