Have decided to offer one of my retro 'Tilda' dolls to one lucky follower. All you need to do is tell me why you or a child in your family deserves one! I shall pick the best comment on Mother's Day and make the doll of your choice.
My oldest daughter is called 'Matilda'. Her biggest fan, her baby sister Martha, calls her 'Tilda'.
Martha sleeps with her head on one of your Miffy cushions, and I know she'd love to go to bed with her own 'Tilda' ... to keep her company when the real Tilda is asleep in her own bed.
Hiya, thanks for the chance at this gorgeous doll!. Hmmm I think that my nine month old little girl, Felix, would love a Tilda doll because she a) does not yet own a doll and b) does not yet own anything by you!. Her mum and dad, however, already have a Jane Foster "lovebirds" print on their bedroom wall...which surely was instrumental in the making of little Felix ? :) (well maybe not, but it's a nice idea!)
I would LOVE a Tilda! Been on my wishlist a while, but with wedding day fast approaching, funds are getting tighter and tighter! I have been a rather poorly bunny for the last year and as of next week, will finally have some hair again, as Its now grown back enough to get extensions! Recovery is a tough old road, and I would love a little retro lady (reminds me of myself, in a way!) to commemorate my 'new' hair and the next step on the road to a happy healthy life!
I would like to say that I have a little girl called Jane (who has a trusty dog called Foster) who loves the colour red, loves girlie softies and would squish our sweet little Tilda all day and all night...
But that would all be a lie, as I only have two boys...who don't like girl dolls. Drats, I say.
So I will be honest and say I would love Tilda for old me! I have never grown up at all, still love to squish a softie or two when it's close to my heart and I know I have a special place for retro Tilda in my home...
I would like to win a Tilda because not only are they just so so sweet and stylish, but, I think she looks like me, and wears what I wear, and it would be the perfect doll for my 18 month old daughter who is still so clingy for mum that perhaps some of that separation anxiety could be transferred to her mummish-looking Tilda doll!
Hi, i bought one of your dollkits for my daughter not that long ago, but since i think the doll is almost to precious to play whith, i would love to have one more djust for me....:)
What a nice idea! I love your dolls and would be so happy if I won! I'm actually still so childish, in an age of 35, that I think I would keep her for myself..;-)
Hi Jane, when I was a child I had a gorgeous 'raggy' doll made for me by my Mom. I carried it everywhere and it was such a special toy that it literally fell to pieces from too many hugs. I'd love one of your dolls for my sweet niece so that she could enjoy the same pleasure from a fabric friend that I had at her age, Jo x
My daughter is 6. I call her my girly girl, my squirrelly girl, my monkey girl, my monkey squirrel, my angel face-- and every night when I put her to bed I look into her amazing hazel green eyes and tell her she is the best girl in the whole wide world. And she takes my face in her little hands and tells me I'm the best mommy in the whole wide world. And then I tell her I will love her forever and ever no matter what. And she tells me the same. It's our ritual. It's our beautiful love story! It would be a joy to give my beautiful little love something so special.
Beautiful dolls! I'd love to win a Tilda for my son Louis who loves flowers and long hair. Then I'd show him who made it and tell him that he could also make another one himself! He would like that! Thanks for the opportunity!
I would like to give a Tilda to my Mum for Mothers Day, as I think she would love it! I was showing her your cushion site and she was really loving the retro fabrics! Thanks for the chance to win!
My little Daisy is my greatest treasure and she as yet has not got a treasure of her own to cuddle and play with so I am sure she would love her own gorgeous, red haired doll. What a treat... Thanks for putting on such a lovely offer!
I have a little niece, she's diagnosed with alstrom syndrome; the vibrant colors of Tilda would be so great for her because she is slowly losing eyesight. And her older sister no doubt would love to play with her as well!
Ohhh! I think my Flora really needs this doll. She is a big fan of handmade! Lucky for her, I've been slowly building her a collection of beautiful handmade toys from Etsy and fellow makers of things beautiful.
Thank you everyone for all your lovely comments - it was a much harder decision than I'd predicted and I wish I could make all of you one of my dolls. Thank you all for participating - I've decided to give the doll to Inspiredbyfelix - to a little girl who doesn't yet have her own doll. Kind regards Janex
What a nice gesture! I would love one for my little niece Michelle. She just started her first year of a special needs school and she needs a lot of time adjusting to her new surroundings. I think Tilda would be a sweet girl to take along and ease her at time of need. Thank you for the give away!

Gosh, It wouldn't be pretty as I know Lily and I would fight over who gets to play with her!

Hi! I would like to get one of those dolls for my girl. Finally there would be a doll that mum does not think as ugly...
My friend's daughter Ina looks just like Tilda. If i should win this give-away, it will make a great surprise for Ina's birthday.

Hi, i would like one as a present for my niece Elyia - Mai. I think she would love it as she is a right girly girl.
