Heals curtain fabric from the 60s and 70s - orange
Have recently been asked to make some orange Heals cushions for someone and whilst finding possible samples, I thought they'd make a fabulous quilt! It's funny how most of the Heals fabrics I have from the 60s and 70s use bright orange.
They look lovely. Thanks for sharing as it helps me identify a piece of fabric I have. It's the one with lots of smaller flowers but I have it in blue.I think you actually bid on a piece I had on ebay. I wondered why it did so well ;)
Those colours make me laugh (no offense). It's the colours most of my 'Aunt In Law's' apartment is deck out in. She is so stuck in that era, although I can't blame her. The cushions will be fab! :)
I just gave a lecture about color in graphic design, and talked about how around the mid-sixties these super bright, eye-popping red-pink-orange palettes were popping up everywhere... these fabrics would make a lovely addition to my slide show!
I love these colours together. I find myself making orange and yellow and pink combinations all the time lately. It's so sunny and bright. Love your colour sensibilites. Glad to have found your blog.
Hi,glad to have found you! Great designs and loved the Homes and Antiques artical and didn't realise they were your cushions!! Quilting is my thang! Good luck with it!!

They're gorgeous. I'm so jealous of your fabric supplies and ability.
I'm thinking I should give a quilt a go ... but don't even know where to start! I'm sure there's a plethors of info on the Internet.
Can't wait to see yours when it's finished.
